The Durak Report February 09, Anno Domini 2026

1. Recent News

1.1. Appeals court greenlights Trump admin policy of detaining undocumented immigrants without opportunity to seek release

Woah, my first CNN post. They jump into full bias in the first sentence, but they left it out of the title.

1.2. Rep. Gene Wu (D) wants to overthrow the government

That's what he says, bring in enough people to overthrow the government.

1.3. PsyopAnime submission for the Grok Imagine contest

Slow day is slow, and I enjoy PsyopAnime's work. Check em out!

1.4. Jack Lang, the president of the Arab World Institute, is under investigation over alleged “aggravated tax fraud laundering”

Maybe trump was right for saying lots of people will get hurt who don't necessarily deserve it. I'm not saying he's innocent, just that he could be. yet basically had to resign.

1.5. Japanese PM’s party secures historic win in snap elections

Huh. Super-majority eh? This could be interesting.

1.6. Russia will not attack Europe unless struck first – Lavrov

Sure, have a defense, but it's kinda crazy to think Russia is ready to fight NATO head on.

1.7. Who are the Russians named in the latest Epstein files? Vladimir Putin

These headlines are just… awful. In the article they say Putin likely never met Epstein. Also, of course rich and influential people would deal with rich and influential people… No mention of any wrongdoing.

2. Extra words nobody asked for

2.1. Appeals court greenlights Trump admin policy of detaining undocumented immigrants without opportunity to seek release

Alright, I have a touch more to say on this article than I want to put in the main news brief. Here's the first sentence.

"A divided federal appeals court on Friday ruled in favor of the Trump administration’s policy of detaining millions of undocumented immigrants, even those who have been living in the US for decades, without the opportunity to challenge their detention, handing President Donald Trump a major win as he seeks to carry out an aggressive deportation campaign."

There's so much here… And yea, that's one sentence.

"even those who have been living in the US for decades" So… CNN's Devan Cole believes if you break the law consistently for a longer period of time, you should be rewarded?

"without the opportunity to challenge their detention" Which is what the law says.

"handing President Donald Trump a major win as he seeks to carry out an aggressive deportation campaign. "

It's not really a win. It's just following the law as it was intended.

These people…

They go on to talk about how this was a conservative court, so it's unjust. All those liberal courts that said other stuff, now they are just!

It really shouldn't be this hard to interpret law. And I suppose it's likely not. It's just politicized judicial system.
