I have to wonder if Netflix was told, "Hey, uhm, we really can't let you buy this up, we'd be much happier if Paramount owns it."

The whole situation is a bit strange. Paramount bids more than Netflix, Netflix wins, Netflix says, "well, actually let Paramount make an effort" Now Paramount wins. Weird.

Nothing else was particularly interesting.
