The Durak Report March 01, Anno Domini 2026
1. Recent News
1.1. Trump tells Iranians the 'hour of your freedom is at hand' as US-Israel launch strikes against Iran
It has begun.
1.2. Dem governor under fire after illegal alien allegedly stabs woman to death at bus stop: 'Heinous'
It's NC all over again. Even worse, this person shouldn't have even been in the country.
1.3. Democrats Strike Oppositional Pose to the Iran War
Interesting. From the article:
The Canadian government “supports the United States acting to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and to prevent its regime from further threatening international peace and security.” The Australian government also backs “the United States acting to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and to prevent Iran continuing to threaten international peace and security.”
I'm surprised Canada was so quick to jump on this. Kinda surprised Australia said anything at all.
1.4. US bases TARGETED after Iran missile stockpile revealed
US attacks military bases; Israel attacks leadership.
1.5. Iran Leadership Neutralized
I'll leave you with Trump's words.
1.6. Trump suggests ‘friendly takeover of Cuba’
We don't know what that means, but it sounds nice.
1.7. Israeli strike on Iranian school kills over 100 children
Several news agencies have reported about Tasnim claiming this. Does Iran educate woman? Grok says yes, and that this incident has yet to be independently verified. We may never know.
1.8. US military suffered 200 casualties in retaliatory strikes – Tehran
This isn't unfathomable, but I find it unlikely that Tehran is able to know the damage they've caused. Particularly on American bases. I've heard no US based reporting on this yet.
1.9. Facebook blocks pro-government Hungarian news weeks ahead of elections
Seems like Facebook is interfering with Hungarian politics. This needs to end.
2. Extra words nobody asked for
All my extra thoughts were included above this time. Why? Well, I could say due to the gravity of the Iran situation I felt it was better just left up there. But really, I just kinda happened to do that. And I'm going to leave it. Because this is my home and I can do that.
Thanks everyone!
P.S.
Guess I have a little to say. I didn't report on anything from NPR today, but every time I read though the article headlines, I keep thinking I'm looking through reporting by an enemy of the United States.
This is not sarcasm, the headlines are usually emphasizing negativity towards the US government and all of it's actions. Often times seeming unreasonable. Just like an enemy actor would do.
3. Salutations
