So, RT is saying it looks like something else took down those plains. They claim that no aircraft pilot has survived a patriot missile, they also claim that Iran's radar guided missiles would have also destroyed the aircraft.

They note that the aircraft are all hit in the engines, which suggests heat seeking missiles. Also that Kuwait doesn't claim responsibility for shooting down the planes.

With all the pilots living, it is unlikely they were taken out by air defense systems from either side.

Research says it's probable that these planes came down due to attacks coming from the sky rather than the ground.

But we still don't know who shot who and when.
