2.1. Putin and Trump hold phone call – Kremlin aide

I've said it plenty, but it needs saying plenty, Russia does not care about Iran.

According to RT here and other sources I've read, Trump called Putin and it went something like this:

Trump: "Hey bro, let's end that Ukraine war!" Putin: "Yea, we need to do that, thanks for trying to help. So about Iran…" Trump: Hushed tones. Putin: Hushed tones. Trump: "We had a great call!"

So what happened? We don't know. The only thing we know for sure is that Trump and Putin still have communication open and no is openly causing problems.
