The Durak Report March 18, Anno Domini 2026

1. Recent News

1.1. Some Republicans warn Trump's SAVE America Act is doomed to fail as Senate tees up a vote

The senate needs to stop this silly 60% stuff. Let's just have democracy.

1.3. The US-Israeli strategy against Iran is working. Here is why

Worthwhile read, content reflects title well/

1.4. Trump’s cancellation of licenses for immigrant truckers takes effect

Title is a lie, and Washington Post favors immigrants who are "asylum seekers, refugees or recipients of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, driving our countries trucks.

How is the title a lie? It bars renewals, it doesn't cancel anything.

1.5. Judge blocks parts of RFK Jr.'s vaccine agenda, including new childhood vaccine schedule

It's crazy how Judges have absolute authority over every department of the government.

1.6. Michigan synagogue attacker was "not stable" ahead of incident, ex-wife told 911 operator

People try to do the right thing, and… nothing. I'm not saying someone should have their rights violated because someone said something, but it's not crazy to keep an eye on his activities. It's a tough balance.

1.7. Map shows glaring scope of auto theft increase in Walz's Minneapolis: 'Deterrence problem'

I guess if they can't steal from the government, they steal from their neighbors.

1.8. Trump muses over ‘taking Cuba’ as island’s power grid collapses after weeks of US oil blockade

Yea? I heard him say that too. Cuba as part of the States, will the people accept that?

2. Extra words nobody asked for

Oh boy, Not much going on. I kinda forced those headlines through. I kinda miss having something to say beyond a snippet I'm happy to leave under the headlines.

Ah well, is spring here yet? I need to resume my war with trees…
