Who'd of thought a state would say, "You hold Catholic values? Nah, you are not fit to raise children."

US "We had great talks!" Iran "We had no talks." Iran "Okay, we had talks, we may end this thing."

And so it begins.

This sounds like a bad thing, OTOH, rivers make nice borders.

My initial reaction to this: "Well, that's not good."

Obviously Lebanon doesn't want Israel putting troops into their country, they do have a vested interest in having Hezbollah removed from their midst.

Not too long ago they ordered Hezbollah to disarm, which is very unlikely to go over well. If it was possible, Hezbollah would have been expelled long ago.

It seemed, somewhat, that Lebanon wasn't entirely against Israel removing Hezbollah, but they wanted to be part of the process.

Instead, Israel decided to do their own thing.

This all sounds bad for Lebanon, but if it remove Hezbollah from their country, it may be an over all win towards stabilization, even if they lose some territory in the process.

If it also results in peace with Israel, then they may finally have a chance at a better life.

Let's pray for the best for the people of both countries. I say that with an emphasis on people.
