The Durak Report May 26, Anno Domini 2026

1. Recent News

1.1. Court blocks Alabama from using congressional map with 1 majority-Black district

This is kind of crazy. It's a federal court that is blocking this. I'm not sure they should even have the jurisdiction to do that. They decided that the court gets to select a map. Scary.

Though, interesting that they are saying it's racist to have less black majority districts… That's not how districts work. That's also not how you avoid racism.

1.3. U.S.-wanted nephew of notorious cartel boss "El Chapo" is captured in Mexico

Huh, is the state getting power? Or is a cartel gaining power over other cartels?

1.4. Iran says new US strikes violate ceasefire

They're crazy. They attack everyone around them, yet the US violates the ceasefire.

1.5. Forensic experts sift through ruined dormitory in Russian-held Luhansk region

"Reuters was not able to independently verify what happened." Really? Moscow invited journalists from all over. You could have gone.

1.6. U.N.'s Guterres 'deeply concerned' by Moscow plan for Kyiv strikes

Moscow wants revenge strikes against military/government/industrial targets in response to Kiev attacking a school. We should be deeply concerned that the whole of the west are refusing to look into what happened.

1.7. Germany considering paying Syrians $9,300 to return home

Germany is copying us it seems. Paying a bit more though.

1.8. Gay men driving sexual infection surge in Europe

Not surprising, given history, but at least it's mostly bacterial and not viral.

1.9. US blindsides Taiwan with arms sales ‘pause’

Huh. Are we making a deal with China, or are we just holding out on account of having our own active conflict?

1.10. Tulsi Gabbard quits Trump administration

Lots of people saying she was forced out, but really, who wouldn't want to resign if her spouse had bone cancer?

1.11. International journalists visit site of Ukrainian drone attack atrocity

Like I said earlier, Russia invited folks, but places like BBC and CNN refused to bother.

1.12. Russia warns all foreign citizens to leave Kiev

People like to pretend Russia is somehow weak. I'd take this warning seriously.

1.13. Over 300 suspected child predators arrested in raids across California

Very pro American story. Not sure why RT is publishing this. And by "pro" I mean we are actually doing something to protect kids.

1.14. Staff at drone-hit Russian college added to Ukrainian ‘kill list’

Remember, don't blindly believe anything in a warzone. However, if this is true… We should probably look into it.

1.15. US plans to slash NATO contributions

First Taiwan, then NATO. Are we stockpiling, or are we trying to pull even further from supporting the enemies of Russia and China?

2. Extra words for which nobody asked

2.1. Another light several days

Yea, yea. I'm late again. But in my defense, very few things have been coming up. However, that's really not a valid excuse. I need to get back to doing this daily, or commit to doing it on certain days of the week.

I just caught up on several days of news outside of what I pay attention to daily and there's not much.

Too much for one article, but not much.

Sure, lots of little things like, the beginning of possibly doing this or that, but I don't care to report on stuff that might happen. I prefer to report on things that are happening.

2.2. We've spent BILLIONS ON THIS WAR!!!!

Things may be different, but when I was in the Army, everything was US made… Well, most everything. I asked perplexity.ai about this. It estimates 80:20 to 90:10 in favor of money staying in the United States.

So, if the United States goes to war, and then 80% of that money goes to the people of the United States, granted limited industries, does this hurt us somehow? I recon if they take out loans to do it, it kinda hurts us, but even then it's loans from the people.

Something to think about.

2.3. Supreme Court rejects Florida's attempt to sue California and Washington over immigrant truck drivers

So, the argument is that Washington and California laws are good enough. They also say that Florida isn't even aware of CA and WA laws.

But… What does that matter? The fact remains that these problems occur from illegal aliens with valid licenses from the that states of CA and WA.

I don't care what their laws are, they need to address the issue regardless of what laws may or may not be on the books.

The fact is, they gave valid licenses to people who went and killed people in other states. People who should not have had a valid license.
